Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Use the provided Ethernet cable to connect the LAN port to your network switch or wall jack.
  2. Connect a PC (Optional): Use a second Ethernet cable to connect the PC port to your computer.
  3. Power the Phone: Connect via Power over Ethernet (PoE) from a supported switch, or use the optional external power adapter.
  4. Connect Handset and Headset: Plug the handset cord into the dedicated jack. Connect a headset if desired.

First-Time Setup

The phone will boot and attempt to obtain network configuration automatically.

  1. Initial Boot: Wait for the phone to complete its startup sequence. The display will show the extension number once registered.
  2. Set Language: Press the Settings key, navigate to User Preferences > Language, and select your preferred language.
  3. Adjust Display Contrast: Press the Settings key, navigate to User Preferences > Display, and adjust the contrast.
  4. Set Date and Time: Typically set automatically via the network. Can be adjusted in Settings > Time & Date if needed.
  5. Program Feature Keys: Consult your system administrator to configure line appearances, speed dials, or feature keys.

Making and Managing Calls

Supports standard telephony features: hold, transfer, conference, forward.

  1. Make a Call: Lift handset or press SPEAKER. Dial number using the keypad. Press the Dial softkey or wait for auto-dial.
  2. Answer a Call: Lift handset, press SPEAKER, or press the flashing line key/Answer softkey.
  3. Hold: Press HOLD key. Press the held line key or Resume softkey to retrieve.
  4. Transfer: During a call, press Transfer. Dial the target number. Press Transfer again to complete, or hang up to perform a blind transfer.
  5. Conference: During a call, press Conference. Dial the second party. When connected, press Conference again to merge all parties.
  6. Call Forwarding: Press the CFwdAll softkey or access via Settings > Call Features > Forwarding.
  7. Redial: Press the Redial softkey or the pre-programmed Redial key.

WARNING! Emergency calls (e.g., 911) may have location limitations on VoIP systems. Understand your system's configuration.

Accessibility Features

Visual Alert: Flashing LED for incoming calls (configurable). Audio Adjustments: Independent volume control for ringer, handset, speaker, and headset. Hearing Aid Compatible: Handset is rated for hearing aid compatibility (HAC).

Care & Cleaning
