Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface near power and network connection.

  1. Connect to network: Use Ethernet cable to connect phone to IP Office system port.
  2. Connect handset: Plug coiled handset cord into handset jack.
  3. Connect power: Use provided power adapter or PoE (Power over Ethernet).
  4. Connect optional headset: Plug into RJ-9 headset jack.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapter. Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; wait for system registration.

  1. Check registration: Display should show extension number and system name.
  2. Set date and time: Usually synchronized from IP Office system.
  3. Program buttons: Use Admin menu or IP Office Manager to assign functions.
  4. Adjust volume: Use volume keys to set handset, speaker, and ringer levels.

CAUTION! Do not unplug during firmware update. Allow phone to complete startup.

Access menu via MENU button. Navigation: UP/DOWN arrow keys, OK, BACK.

  2. Use Cat5e or better Ethernet cable for network connection.
  3. For headset use, enable headset mode via HEADSET button.

Tip: Use cable management to avoid clutter and tripping hazards.

Basic Call Handling

Make, answer, and manage calls.

  1. Make call: Lift handset or press SPEAKER/HEADSET, dial number.
  2. Answer call: Lift handset, press SPEAKER, or press flashing line button.
  3. End call: Replace handset or press SPEAKER/END CALL.
  4. Hold: Press HOLD button; resume by pressing same line button.
  5. Mute: Press MUTE during call; LED lights when active.
  6. Transfer: Press TRANSFER, dial target, announce, complete transfer.
  7. Conference: Press CONFERENCE, dial participant, press CONFERENCE again to join.
  8. Redial: Press REDIAL to call last dialed number.

WARNING! Emergency calls may require direct line access; know your system configuration.

Advanced Features

Speed Dial: Program numbers to buttons for one-touch dialing. Call Forwarding: Activate via feature code or menu to forward calls. Do Not Disturb: Silence ringer for incoming calls. Call Log: View missed, received, and dialed calls. Voicemail: Access via voicemail button or dial voicemail number.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug power before cleaning. Use slightly damp, lint-free cloth; avoid liquids and abrasives.
