Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface near power outlet and network connection.

  1. Connect to network: Use provided Ethernet cable to connect phone to network jack.
  2. Connect power: Plug power adapter into phone and wall outlet.
  3. Connect handset: Attach handset cord to phone base and handset.
  4. Optional headset: Plug headset into 2.5mm jack if needed.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapter. Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; wait for initialization.

  1. Network registration: Phone should automatically obtain IP address and register with system.
  2. Check display: Confirm extension number and system name appear.
  3. Program buttons: Use system administrator software or phone menu to assign functions.
  4. Set preferences: Adjust ringer volume, display contrast, and other user settings.

CAUTION! Do not disconnect during initialization. Allow up to 2 minutes for full startup.

Making and Receiving Calls

Basic call handling procedures.

  1. Make call: Lift handset or press SPEAKER, dial number.
  2. Answer call: Lift handset, press SPEAKER, or press flashing line button.
  3. End call: Replace handset or press SPEAKER/END.
  4. Hold: Press HOLD button; resume by pressing same line button.
  5. Transfer: Press TRANSFER, dial destination, press TRANSFER again.
  6. Conference: Press CONFERENCE, dial participant, press CONFERENCE again.
  7. Mute: Press MUTE during call; press again to unmute.

WARNING! Emergency calls may require different procedures; consult system administrator.

Advanced Features

Speed Dial: Program frequently called numbers to buttons. Call Forward: Redirect calls to another extension. Do Not Disturb: Silence ringer for incoming calls. Call Log: View missed, received, and dialed calls.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Use slightly damp cloth for exterior; dry thoroughly.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep liquids away from openings.
