Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable desk surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Use Ethernet cable from switch/router to LAN port on phone.
  2. Connect Computer (Optional): Use second Ethernet cable from PC port on phone to computer.
  3. Connect Handset: Plug coiled handset cord into handset jack.
  4. Power the Phone: Use PoE from switch or connect optional power adapter to DC jack.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapter. Ensure network cables are securely connected.

First-Time Setup

Phone will attempt to boot and obtain network configuration automatically.

  1. Check Network Registration: Observe display for IP address or extension number.
  2. Configure Extension: Usually pre-provisioned by system administrator via PBX.
  3. Set User Preferences: Use Options menu to set time, date, ring tones, and display contrast.
  4. Program Feature Keys: Administrator can assign keys for speed dial, call pickup, etc.

  3. For headset use, ensure compatibility with the phone's headset jack (2.5mm or RJ9).

Tip: The PC port provides a network pass-through, eliminating the need for a separate cable run to the desktop.

Using Phone Features

Supports standard PBX telephony features.

  1. Make a Call: Lift handset or press Speaker/Headset key, dial number.
  2. Answer a Call: Lift handset, press Speaker key, or press the flashing line key.
  3. Hold: Press Hold key. Retrieve by pressing the held line's key.
  4. Transfer: During a call, press Transfer, dial target number, announce call, press Transfer again to complete.
  5. Conference: During first call, press Conference, dial second party, press Conference again to join all.
  6. Call Forward: Press "Fwd" soft key or program via Options menu.
  7. Voicemail: Press Message key or dial voicemail access number.
  8. Adjust Volume: Use Volume keys during a call or while idle (for ringer).

WARNING! Do not use excessive force on keys or handset cord. Keep liquids away from the device.

Accessibility Features
