Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (CAT5e or higher)
  • Power adapter (if not using PoE)
  • Network switch with PoE support
  • Screwdriver (if mounting to wall)
  • IP Office system administrator access

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Network Preparation: Ensure your network switch supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) or have the appropriate power adapter ready.
  2. Physical Connection: Connect the Ethernet cable from the phone to the network switch or PoE injector.
  3. Power On: The phone will power up automatically if connected to PoE, otherwise connect the power adapter.
  4. System Registration: Wait for the phone to obtain an IP address via DHCP and register with the IP Office system.
  5. Extension Assignment: Contact your system administrator to assign an extension number to the phone.
  6. Configuration: Configure user settings through the phone's web interface or IP Office Manager software.
  7. Test Call: Make a test call to verify audio quality and functionality.
