Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
  • Power adapter (if not using PoE)
  • Network switch with PoE support
  • Screwdriver (for wall mount)
  • Network configuration details

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Network Preparation: Ensure your network supports VoIP and has DHCP server enabled for automatic IP assignment.
  2. Physical Connection: Connect the Ethernet cable from the network port to your PoE switch or router. For non-PoE setups, connect the power adapter.
  3. Phone Boot-up: Allow the phone to boot up completely. This may take 2-3 minutes as it obtains IP address and downloads configuration.
  4. Initial Configuration: Follow on-screen prompts to set language, time zone, and network preferences if required.
  5. Extension Registration: Enter extension number and credentials provided by your system administrator.
  6. Feature Testing: Test basic functions - make a call, check voicemail, verify display functions.
  7. Wall Mounting (Optional): Use included wall mount kit if desired, ensuring proper cable management.
Warning: All network configurations should be performed by qualified IT personnel. Incorrect settings may disrupt network operations.
