Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Flat-head screwdriver
  • Network cable tester
  • Telephone line tester
  • Static wrist strap

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a clean, dry location with proper ventilation and access to power and network connections.
  2. Rack Mounting: Secure the IP500 V2 chassis in a standard 19-inch rack using the provided mounting brackets.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the power supply unit to a reliable power source with proper grounding.
  4. Network Connection: Connect Ethernet cables to the appropriate LAN and WAN ports for network connectivity.
  5. Telephone Line Connection: Connect analog and digital telephone lines to the corresponding ports on the system.
  6. Initial Configuration: Connect to the system using the configuration software and set up basic parameters.
  7. System Testing: Test all connected lines, extensions, and features to ensure proper operation.
