Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable desk surface.

  1. Connect to network: Use Ethernet cable from LAN port to switch/router. Use PC port to connect computer if needed.
  2. Connect handset: Plug coiled handset cord into handset jack.
  3. Connect power: Plug power adapter into phone and AC outlet (if not using Power over Ethernet).
  4. Allow phone to boot and obtain IP address from network.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapter. Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Network configuration: Phone should auto-configure via DHCP. Check IP address in Settings > Status.
  2. Extension registration: Enter server IP and extension credentials as provided by administrator.
  3. Set language: In Settings menu, select preferred language (default ENGLISH).

Making and Receiving Calls

  1. Make call: Lift handset or press SPEAKERPHONE/HEADSET, dial number, press DIAL or wait for auto-dial.
  2. Answer call: Lift handset, press SPEAKERPHONE, HEADSET, or corresponding line key.
  3. End call: Hang up handset or press SPEAKERPHONE/END CALL.
  4. Hold: Press HOLD to place call on hold; resume by pressing same line key.
  5. Transfer: Press TRANSFER, dial target, press TRANSFER again to complete.
  6. Conference: Press CONFERENCE, dial first party, press CONFERENCE again to add, repeat for more parties.
  7. Mute: Press MUTE during call to mute microphone; press again to unmute.
  8. Voicemail: Press MESSAGE key to access voicemail (if configured).

WARNING! Do not use phone during electrical storms. Use hands-free options if driving.
