Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. System Planning: Determine the number of phones needed and their locations throughout the office.
  2. Network Preparation: Ensure your network infrastructure supports VoIP requirements and has sufficient bandwidth.
  3. PBX Installation: Install the Avaya IP Office control unit in a secure, well-ventilated location.
  4. Phone Configuration: Connect each phone to the network and configure extension numbers and user settings.
  5. Power Connection: Connect phones using PoE (Power over Ethernet) or individual power adapters as required.
  6. System Programming: Configure system settings, voicemail, auto-attendant, and call routing rules.
  7. Testing: Test all phones for dial tone, internal/external calls, and feature functionality.
