Traditional Telephone System

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Telephone cable crimper
  • RJ11/RJ45 connectors
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Wire stripper
  • Cable tester

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near telephone jacks and power outlets on a stable surface.
  2. Unpack the Phone: Remove all packaging materials and protective covers from the telephone unit.
  3. Connect Telephone Line: Connect the telephone cable to the wall jack using RJ11 connectors. Ensure proper wiring configuration.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the phone and plug into a properly grounded electrical outlet.
  5. Handset Connection: Connect the coiled handset cord to both the handset and base unit.
  6. System Configuration: Program extension numbers, ring tones, and other system settings as required.
  7. Test Operation: Test the phone by making internal and external calls to verify proper installation.
