Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Flat-head screwdriver
  • Punch-down tool (66 or 110 block)
  • Cable tester
  • Wire strippers

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a clean, dry location with proper ventilation and access to power and telephone lines.
  2. Mount the Control Unit: Mount the Partner ACS control unit on a wall or in a telecom closet using provided brackets.
  3. Connect Power Supply: Connect the power supply to the control unit and plug into a dedicated 120V AC outlet.
  4. Connect Telephone Lines: Connect CO/PSTN lines to the appropriate ports on the control unit using standard RJ11 connectors.
  5. Connect Station Lines: Connect station cables to the extension ports for telephone sets throughout the office.
  6. Install Telephone Sets: Mount Partner series phones at each workstation and connect to corresponding station ports.
  7. System Programming: Program system parameters, extensions, and features using the system programming mode.
  8. Test System: Test all lines, extensions, and features to ensure proper operation.
