Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Phillips screwdriver
- Flat-head screwdriver
- Punch-down tool (66 or 110 block)
- Cable tester
- Wire strippers
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a clean, dry location with proper ventilation and access to power and telephone lines.
- Mount the Control Unit: Mount the Partner ACS control unit on a wall or in a telecom closet using provided brackets.
- Connect Power Supply: Connect the power supply to the control unit and plug into a dedicated 120V AC outlet.
- Connect Telephone Lines: Connect CO/PSTN lines to the appropriate ports on the control unit using standard RJ11 connectors.
- Connect Station Lines: Connect station cables to the extension ports for telephone sets throughout the office.
- Install Telephone Sets: Mount Partner series phones at each workstation and connect to corresponding station ports.
- System Programming: Program system parameters, extensions, and features using the system programming mode.
- Test System: Test all lines, extensions, and features to ensure proper operation.
