Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface near power outlet.

  1. Connect to network: Use the provided Ethernet cable to connect the phone to your Avaya system port.
  2. Connect handset: Plug the handset cord into the dedicated jack on the phone.
  3. Connect power: Use the provided power adapter or Power over Ethernet (PoE) if supported.
  4. Power on the phone and wait for initialization.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapters. Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Set language: Press MENU, navigate to Settings > Language, select ENGLISH (default).
  2. Program extension: Enter extension number provided by your system administrator.
  3. Set date and time: Configure in Settings menu or allow network synchronization.

Advanced Features

Supports call transfer, conference, hold, forward, and voicemail access.

  1. Make call: Dial number, press line key or SPEAKER.
  2. Answer call: Press line key, SPEAKER, or lift handset.
  3. Transfer: During call, press TRANSFER, dial target, press TRANSFER again.
  4. Conference: During call, press CONFERENCE, dial second party, press CONFERENCE to join.
  5. Hold: Press HOLD to place call on hold; press line key to retrieve.
  6. Voicemail: Press MESSAGE key or dial voicemail access number.
  7. Speed dial: Program keys for one-touch dialing.
  8. Call park: Park call using system-specific code.

WARNING! Do not use liquid cleaners on keys or display. Keep away from excessive moisture.

Accessibility Features
