Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place phone on stable surface near power and network connection.

  1. Connect to network: Use Ethernet cable to connect phone to LAN port.
  2. Connect handset: Plug coiled handset cord into handset jack.
  3. Connect power: Use provided power adapter to AC outlet.
  4. Optional headset: Plug 2.5mm headset into headset jack.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapter. Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; wait for system registration.

  1. Check registration: Display should show extension number when ready.
  2. Set date/time: Configure through system administrator if not automatic.
  3. Program buttons: Use ADMIN or system programming to assign functions.
  4. Adjust volumes: Use volume controls to set handset, speaker, ringer levels.

  4. Plug power adapter into phone and AC outlet.

Tip: For PoE, ensure switch provides 802.3af power; no adapter needed.

Advanced Call Features

Supports call hold, transfer, conference, forwarding.

  1. Hold: Press HOLD button during call.
  2. Transfer: Press TRANSFER, dial number, press TRANSFER again.
  3. Conference: Press CONFERENCE, dial first party, press CONFERENCE, dial second party, press CONFERENCE to connect.
  4. Call Forward: Program via feature code or system administrator.
  5. Speed Dial: Program buttons for one-touch dialing.
  6. Voicemail: Press MESSAGE button or dial voicemail access number.
  7. Redial: Press REDIAL or last number dialed.
  8. Mute: Press MUTE to disable microphone.

WARNING! Do not use liquid cleaners on buttons or display.

Accessibility Features

Ringer Volume Adjustment: Use volume control. Display Contrast: Adjust in settings menu. Hearing Aid Compatible: Handset meets FCC standards.
