Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable desk surface.

  1. Connect to network: Plug the Ethernet cable from the phone's LAN port to the data network jack.
  2. Connect power: Use the provided power adapter or Power over Ethernet (PoE) if supported by your switch.
  3. Connect handset: Attach the coiled handset cord to the phone and handset.
  4. Optional headset: Plug a headset into the headset jack on the side of the phone.

WARNING! Use only the provided or approved power adapter. Ensure cables are routed to avoid tripping hazards.

First-Time Setup

Power on the phone; it will boot and register with the communication server.

  1. Check registration: Look for your extension number and name on the display.
  2. Set date and time: Usually provided by the server automatically.
  3. Adjust volume: Use volume keys to set ringer and speaker levels.
  4. Program keys: Use the Options menu or web interface to assign functions to programmable keys.

CAUTION! Do not attempt to open the phone casing. Refer service to qualified personnel.

  3. For PC pass-through, connect PC Ethernet cable to phone's PC port.
  4. Select audio path via "Headset" or "Speaker" button during a call.

Basic Call Handling

Making, answering, and managing calls.

  1. Make a call: Lift handset or press Speaker/Headset, dial number, or use a programmed speed dial key.
  2. Answer a call: Lift handset, press Speaker, Headset, or the flashing line key.
  3. End a call: Hang up handset or press the Speaker/Headset button again.
  4. Hold: Press Hold softkey or dedicated Hold button. Press again or select line to retrieve.
  5. Mute: Press Mute button to turn microphone off (LED lights). Press again to resume.
  6. Adjust volume: Use Volume Up/Down keys during a call for listening volume, or when idle for ringer volume.

WARNING! Avoid using the phone in very humid environments to prevent damage.

Advanced Features

Transfer: During a call, press Transfer, dial target number, announce call, press Transfer again to complete. Conference: During a call, press Conf, dial second party, press Conf again to join all parties. Call Forwarding: Access via Options menu or feature code (e.g., *72). Do Not Disturb: Press DND softkey or use feature code to silence rings.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug power before cleaning. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays.

CAUTION! Never immerse the phone in liquid. Keep liquids away from the device.
