Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable desk surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Use Ethernet cable from switch to phone's LAN port.
  2. Connect PC: Use second Ethernet cable from phone's PC port to computer.
  3. Power the Phone: Use PoE from switch or connect external power adapter.
  4. Connect Handset: Plug coiled handset cord into handset jack.
  5. Optional Headset: Plug into 3.5mm headset jack.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapter. Ensure cables are securely connected.

First-Time Setup

Phone boots and attempts to obtain network configuration via DHCP.

  1. Check Registration: Observe display for SIP registration status.
  2. Configure Settings: Press the Settings button or navigate to Options menu.
  3. Set Language: In User Preferences, select language (default ENGLISH).
  4. Adjust Audio: Set ringer type, volume levels for handset, speaker, ringer.
  5. Program Keys: Assign functions (line appearances, speed dials, features) to programmable keys.

CAUTION! Do not place phone near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

  1. Make Call: Lift handset or press Speakerphone, dial number, press Dial softkey or #.
  2. Answer Call: Lift handset, press Speakerphone, or press Answer softkey.
  3. Hold: Press Hold button during active call.
  4. Transfer: During call, press Transfer, dial target, press Transfer again.
  5. Conference: During call, press Conference, dial participant, press Conference again to merge.
  6. Call Forwarding: Configure via Features menu or programmable key.
  7. Call Log: Access missed, received, placed calls via directory button.
  8. Speed Dial: Assign numbers to programmable keys for one-touch dialing.

WARNING! Do not use handset cord to carry or pull the phone.

Accessibility Features
