Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable desk surface.

  1. Connect to network: Plug the Ethernet cable from the phone's LAN port to the network jack.
  2. Connect power: Use the provided power adapter or ensure Power over Ethernet (PoE) is available.
  3. Connect handset: Attach coiled handset cord to handset and phone base.
  4. Optional headset: Plug headset into the 2.5mm jack on the side of the phone.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapter. Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Setup

Power on phone; wait for initialization.

  1. Network registration: Phone should automatically register with the IP Office system if pre-configured.
  2. Set user preferences: Press the Menu button to adjust time/date, ring tones, display contrast.
  3. Program keys: Use the Admin menu or web interface to assign functions to programmable keys.
  4. Test features: Make a test call to verify audio quality and basic functions.

Making and Receiving Calls

Basic call functions for daily use.

  1. Make a call: Lift handset or press Speaker/Headset, dial number, press Dial or wait.
  2. Answer a call: Lift handset, press Speaker, or press the flashing line key.
  3. End a call: Hang up handset or press the Drop/Speaker button.
  4. Hold: Press Hold button; press again or line key to retrieve.
  5. Mute: Press Mute during a call to mute microphone (LED lights).
  6. Transfer: Press Transfer, dial target number, announce call, press Transfer again.
  7. Conference: Press Conference, dial first party, press Conference again, dial second party, press Conference to connect all.

WARNING! Do not use phone during electrical storms. Use caution when adjusting volume with headset.

Advanced Features

Speed Dial: Program numbers to programmable keys for one-touch dialing. Call Forwarding: Activate via menu or feature code (e.g., *72). Do Not Disturb: Enable to silence ringer for incoming calls. Call Logs: Access missed, received, and dialed calls from menu.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug from power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, dampen cloth with water only.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or aerosols. Keep liquids away from phone.
