Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place phone on stable surface near power and network connection.

  1. Connect to network: Use the provided cable to connect the phone's LAN port to the network jack.
  2. Connect handset: Plug coiled handset cord into handset jack.
  3. Connect power: Use the power adapter or Power over Ethernet (PoE) if supported.
  4. Power on: Phone will boot and register with the communication system.

WARNING! Use only approved power adapters. Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged.

First-Time Configuration

After powering on, follow prompts if any. Basic configuration may be done via system administrator or phone menu.

  1. Set language: Press Menu, navigate to Settings > Language, select preferred language.
  2. Adjust volume: Use volume keys to set comfortable levels for ringer, handset, and speaker.
  3. Set time and date: May be automatically provided by the system.
  4. Program buttons: Assign line appearances or features to programmable buttons as needed.

CAUTION! Configuration changes may affect system operation. Consult administrator if unsure.

Fixed Buttons: Hold, Transfer, Conference, Drop, Speaker, Mute, Volume Up/Down, Headset, Message.

Menu Navigation: Use the Navigation cluster (Up/Down/Left/Right) and Select button to access settings like Ring Tones, Display Contrast, Button Programming.

Making & Receiving Calls

Basic call handling procedures.

  1. Make a call: Lift handset or press Speaker, dial number, or press a programmed line/speed dial button.
  2. Answer a call: Lift handset, press Speaker, or press the flashing line button.
  3. End a call: Hang up handset or press Speaker or Drop button.
  4. Adjust volume: Use Volume keys during a call for handset/speaker volume, or when idle for ringer volume.

Tip: Use the Speaker button for hands-free dialing before lifting the handset.

Advanced Call Features

Common business telephony features accessible via buttons or feature codes.

  1. Hold: Press Hold button. Retrieve by pressing the held line's button.
  2. Transfer: During a call, press Transfer, dial target number, announce call, press Transfer again to complete.
  3. Conference: During a call, press Conference, dial next party, press Conference again to connect all.
  4. Call Forward: Program a button for Call Forward All Calls or use feature code (e.g., *72).
  5. Do Not Disturb: Activate to send calls directly to voicemail.
  6. Redial: Press Redial or last number dialed feature.
  7. Message Waiting: Indicator light shows voicemail. Press Message button to call voicemail system.

Note: Feature availability depends on system configuration.

Programmable Buttons

Customize buttons for quick access.

  1. Enter programming mode: Press and hold the button you wish to program until display prompts.
  2. Assign function: Select from list (Line, Speed Dial, Call Forward, etc.).
  3. For Speed Dial: Enter the number and optional label.
  4. Save: Follow on-screen prompts to save assignment.

Buttons can be reassigned at any time. Consult system administrator for advanced programming.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquids or aerosols.

CAUTION! Avoid extreme temperatures and moisture. Do not disassemble the phone.
