Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (CAT5e or higher)
  • Power adapter (if not using PoE)
  • Network switch with PoE capability
  • Screwdriver (for wall mounting)
  • Network configuration details

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Network Preparation: Ensure your network supports VoIP and has DHCP server enabled for automatic IP assignment.
  2. Physical Connection: Connect the Ethernet cable from the network port to your PoE switch or router. For non-PoE setups, connect the power adapter.
  3. Phone Boot-up: Allow the phone to boot up completely. This may take 2-3 minutes as it obtains IP address and downloads configuration.
  4. Initial Configuration: Follow on-screen prompts to set language, time zone, and network preferences if required.
  5. Extension Registration: Enter your extension number and credentials as provided by your system administrator.
  6. Feature Button Programming: Configure speed dial, call forwarding, and other feature buttons according to your needs.
  7. Test Call: Make a test call to verify audio quality and feature functionality.
Warning: For proper configuration and integration with Avaya communication systems, installation should be performed by qualified personnel.
