Speed Dial & Directory Setup

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Network cable (Ethernet)

Step-by-Step Phone Setup

  1. Physical Connection: Connect the phone to your network using an Ethernet cable and plug in the power adapter.
  2. Power On: Allow the phone to boot up completely. This may take 2-3 minutes.
  3. Network Configuration: Obtain IP address automatically via DHCP or configure static IP as per your network requirements.
  4. Server Registration: Configure the phone to register with your Avaya communication server using provided server address.
  5. Extension Assignment: Assign extension numbers to each phone through the administration portal.
  6. Basic Testing: Make test calls to ensure proper connectivity and audio quality.
  7. Programming Setup: Access programming menu to begin configuring speed dial numbers and directories.
