Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, flat surface.

  1. Connect to Network: Plug an Ethernet cable from your network switch into the LAN port on the phone.
  2. Connect PC (Optional): Use another Ethernet cable from the PC port to your computer.
  3. Connect Handset: Attach the coiled handset cord to the handset jack.
  4. Connect Power: Use the provided power adapter or ensure Power over Ethernet (PoE) is available.
  5. Power on the phone: The display will light up and begin booting.

WARNING! Use only the provided or approved power adapter. Ensure cables are routed safely to avoid tripping hazards.

First-Time Setup

After powering on, the phone will attempt to connect to the network and register with the communication server.

  1. Network Configuration: If using DHCP (default), the phone will obtain an IP address automatically. For static IP, configure via the phone's menu.
  2. Server Registration: Enter the server address provided by your administrator. The phone will download its configuration.
  3. Set Language: In the Settings menu, select your preferred language (default is ENGLISH).
  4. Set Date and Time: Configure time zone and format, usually synchronized from the server.
  5. Test Basic Functions: Make a test call to verify audio quality and feature operation.

CAUTION! Do not unplug the phone during the boot or registration process.

Connecting Devices

Using Phone Features

Supports basic and advanced telephony features.

  1. Make a Call: Lift handset or press SPEAKER, then dial number. Use on-hook dialing by dialing first.
  2. Answer a Call: Lift handset, press SPEAKER, or press the flashing line key.
  3. Hold: Press HOLD to place a call on hold. Press the held line key to retrieve.
  4. Transfer: Press TRANSFER, dial the target number, announce the call, then press TRANSFER again to complete.
  5. Conference: Press CONFERENCE during a call, dial the second party, then press CONFERENCE again to connect all.
  6. Call Forward: Access via menu or feature code (e.g., *72) to forward calls to another number.
  7. Voicemail: Press the voicemail key or dial the access number. Follow prompts.
  8. Directory: Use the Directory softkey to access personal and corporate directories.

Care & Cleaning
