Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from direct sunlight and moisture sources.
- Rack Mounting: Secure the Avaya IP Office control unit in a standard 19-inch rack using provided mounting brackets.
- Network Connection: Connect the system to your network switch using Ethernet cables. Ensure proper VLAN configuration if required.
- Power Connection: Connect the power supply unit or use Power over Ethernet (PoE) for IP phones.
- Phone Configuration: Connect IP phones to network ports and allow them to auto-configure from the IP Office server.
- System Initialization: Power on the system and initialize using the Avaya IP Office Manager software.
- Test Configuration: Make test calls between extensions and to external lines to verify proper operation.
