IP Office Edition

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Network cable tester
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Punch down tool
  • Ethernet cables (Cat5e or higher)
  • Power supply unit

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from direct sunlight and moisture sources.
  2. Unpack and Inventory: Remove all components from packaging and verify all parts are present according to packing list.
  3. Mount the Control Unit: Mount the IP Office control unit in a secure location using provided mounting brackets.
  4. Connect Network Cables: Connect Ethernet cables from the control unit to your network switch and telephone handsets.
  5. Power Connection: Connect the power supply to the control unit and plug into a properly grounded electrical outlet.
  6. Handset Configuration: Configure individual telephone handsets according to user requirements and extensions.
  7. System Testing: Test all functions including internal calls, external calls, voicemail, and special features.
Warning: All installations must be performed by a qualified Avaya technician to ensure proper operation and maintain warranty coverage.
