Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher)
  • Power adapter (if not using PoE)
  • Network switch with PoE capability
  • Screwdriver (for wall mounting)
  • Network configuration tool

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Network Preparation: Ensure your network supports VoIP and has proper QoS settings configured for voice traffic.
  2. Physical Connection: Connect the Ethernet cable from the network port to your PoE switch or router. Use port 1 for network connection.
  3. Power Connection: If not using PoE, connect the power adapter to the phone and plug into a power outlet.
  4. Initial Boot: Allow the phone to boot up completely. This may take 2-3 minutes as it downloads configuration.
  5. Configuration: Access the phone's web interface or use IP Office Manager to configure extension settings.
  6. Testing: Make test calls to verify audio quality and feature functionality.
  7. Wall Mounting (Optional): Use the included wall mount kit if desk placement is not preferred.

Troubleshooting

Common Error Codes
